How Omnara uses cookies

This page explains what cookies and similar technologies we currently use on Omnara, why we use them, and what choices you have. We currently use limited cookies for language preference, account access, and optional support chat.

What cookies are used

Omnara currently uses a small number of cookies and embedded third-party scripts to keep the site working properly. Based on the current codebase, these fall into three main groups: language preference cookies, authentication session cookies, and an optional customer support chat widget.

We do not currently use advertising cookies or retargeting cookies on the public site.

Strictly necessary cookies

Authentication and session cookies may be set by Supabase so signed-in users can stay logged in, access protected dashboard pages, and complete account actions securely.

These cookies are required for core product functions such as signing in, maintaining a session, and protecting authenticated requests.

  • Purpose: sign-in, session continuity, authenticated security checks
  • Typical duration: session-based or short persistence depending on auth state

Preference cookies

Omnara stores a language preference cookie named preferred-locale when you switch between English and Chinese on the public pages.

This cookie is used only to remember your selected language and improve the next visit experience.

  • Purpose: remember language selection
  • Duration: up to 1 year

Optional support chat

If you allow optional cookies, Omnara may load the Tawk.to support widget so you can open a live chat with the team.

Tawk.to may place its own cookies or use similar browser storage to keep the chat available, remember your session, and improve support operations.

  • Provider: Tawk.to
  • Purpose: customer support chat and conversation continuity
  • When loaded: only after you accept optional cookies

Third-party services

When you use account, payment, or support features, third-party providers such as Supabase, Creem, and Tawk.to may process data needed to authenticate your session, complete billing flows, or operate the support chat.

If those providers change their own cookie behavior, their notices and policies may also apply in addition to this page.

Your choices

You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings. Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent login, account access, checkout, or other core features from working correctly.

If you choose the necessary-only option in the cookie prompt, Omnara will not load the optional support chat widget. If Omnara adds other non-essential analytics or marketing cookies in the future, this notice should be updated before those technologies are used.
